So you spent the whole day on the beach, you are hungry but still have to take a shower and dress- and that takes some time. I have a great solution for you!
Get to Lolo’s Surf Cantina. It is literally on your way from the beach as it is located beachside of the Ocean drive. From outside it might be hard to spot as its door is located on the side of the building.
Once you get in you will feel that casually bohemian Mexican feel. they have a full bar and plenty of menu items. For your happy hour, you definitely want to get a margarita and some tacos.
Tacos go 1/2 price during happy hour and they come in pairs. Yes, don’t you think you are ordering one taco. They will bring 2 on a soft corn tortilla. So far, these are very similar to the street tacos I ate in California.
The good thing is that if you go with a group it is easy to share. I personally didn’t have a margarita as I was battling the cold, but I spoke to several other customers and they really loved those margaritas.
They have a big outdoor space and bar seating, but as you probably noticed I prefer to sit outdoors while the weather is permitting. The small patio is charming and offers different seating options. so just get there, get yourself some tacos, refresh yourself with a margarita and you are ready to keep going.
