Being on vacation means you don’t have to wake up early next day and you want to go on for little longer at night and maybe even have some drinks at a local bar. Well so far the best bar that I found is Odd Birds
They are open until 2 am, besides having a great drinks menu they offered some bites and as one of the owners is Venezuelan you get to taste authentic Venezuelan arepas, tequenos or empanadas. ( I can certify the taste was like homemade!)
You can stay in the outside garden area but go inside, the bar is really cool looking. (don’t want to spoil, so no pics for now)
Check the menu and take a chance and order the Barman special. Tell your bartender what you like and what you don’t like and he will make you a perfect drink. I can be picky with my drinks as there are special ingredients that I like or dislike, my drink was on point, decorations and all!
Besides that, every drink will be served in the different type of glass Or in my case, it was more like a little jar. and wait for a show!!! (check the video) I mean that is a real craft art.
During our visit, every one of us got a perfect drink to their taste so don’t miss this spot!

What a spectacular review of Casa Monica, Casa Maya and Mary’s Harbor !!! Just sat back and enjoyed the awesome photos, history and descriptions of each of the locations! Next in my travel list (for ’19) is St. Augustine definitely! …And I am also going to have my students read the reviews as part of class activities as they are all from abroad, namely, Europe, Asia, Arabia and the Middle East…They are always asking where they can go for a weekend getaway that is different from Miami Beach. Good writing skills, good stuff! Congratulations…!
